Continuing with the theme of me making poor food choices this weekend, I decided to treat yo (mah) self and ordered the arugula and quinoa salad from California Pizza Kitchen since I was over there and hungry and it sounded good. Well, 1) it was $13.50 with chicken, 2) they were out of feta, 3) they tried to charge me $2.50 for a fountain seltzer, which I fought the manager into giving me free because what the hell come on $2.50?? and they don’t even have any feta, and 4) the salad turned out to be gross anyway and I ended up eating a carton of cottage cheese for dinner instead.
I need to stop trying new things. Seriously.
