Creepy Cosby Show
So episode 3/20 of the Cosby Show is on. “Cliff’s 50th Birthday” always creeps me out. Cliff’s friend brings his 12 year old daughter over and Cliff thinks she won’t have fun with the adults so he tries to pawn her off on to Theo. Theo rightfully says, “All I see is 12” when his dad says she’s a beautiful girl. Then Cliff reminds Theo about his plan to settle down at 24 and that this younger girl will be a good option for him because she’ll be 20 or 21. Gross!
And Claire is righteously indignant about the dad’s infidelity that resulted in divorce so she’s actively avoiding him all night until he surprises her in the kitchen and makes her laugh and all is forgiven.
I can’t with this episode. Cosby Show, this was not a good look.
I see that we both have TV Land on right now. That whole conversation between Cliff and Theo made me go
