I’m not jeopardizing my new job. I’ve signed my acceptance of the position. It’s just a matter of whether or not they’ll let me push back the start date. They’re not going to say, “Welp, you asked about pushing it back a week, so nevermind we don’t want you.” They’ll just say, no we need you to start the 30th.
