AND I don’t think most Americans ARE jealous of the rich. They sincerely believe that this is America and if they’re rich then they must have worked hard and earned it. That’s why the Kardashians get so much shit - because America, as a nation, has decided that they didn’t “earn” their money. It’s really not fair to the Kardashians because, okay, they earned their millions of dollars by doing whatever dumb shit they do, but was it any more luck than the guy who happened to know the guy who invented Amazon and invested? Why is his luck more worthy of respect than the Kardashians?
